The Maryland Lotteries Association is announcing it is changing the way it presents prizes to winners in an effort to help people win tickets.
The lottery post office has issued a notice to its customers saying that it will stop issuing lottery tickets in mail and instead will post lottery tickets online.
It also will post a message on its website explaining the changes.
The message states that the lottery will start issuing lottery cards on July 1 and will stop offering tickets to winners until December 31, 2020.
The announcement comes less than a week after the state launched a new lottery system and more than a year after the lottery’s initial launch.More:
