The salisbury police department is now cracking down on a pair of posts that have become a huge social distancing posters in the town.
The posts have seen people post photos and videos of themselves and others, some of whom are either dating or already married.
One such person was a married couple with children who posted photos of themselves together.
One of the pictures was a close-up of their two children together, and a caption was added saying “You’re gonna love this”.
The couple has been banned from public areas in the area for three weeks, while the other posted a video on Facebook of himself with his wife, a woman he met on the internet.
The two have been ordered to pay a fine of $5,000.
The department has also banned the pair from social distanced posts on the Salisbury Post and banned their posts from any public spaces in the city.
However, the couple has since been able to use social distances in their homes and have not been banned for using them in public.
The town’s mayor, Andrew Davenport, said that the two were using social distance to get a closer look at the two children who they said were being neglected.
He said: “I’m pretty surprised to hear it’s the two of them, it seems a bit strange but obviously it’s a good way of getting some closure on the family situation.”
There are no current plans to crack down on the couple’s posts.
The post was first posted by a woman who has since moved on to a different life.
